DP/CP Roundtable Agenda - Sample

Sample agenda:

First meeting (in Google Meet - synchronous) 60 minutes

  1. Introduce facilitator(s) and participants

  • Introduce the Google Classroom platform to ensure participants are familiar with the system

  • Show participants where to get answers about Google Classroom and how to access it for future use and collaboration

  1. Norm setting: As a facilitator, please keep the group discussion positive with a problem-solving attitude.

  2. Review any changes to guides, requirements, or processes

  3. Allow participants to share things from official IBO trainings or conferences

  4. Create groups to work together between meetings


First Interim (Collaboration in groups arranged in 1st meeting)

  • Work in small groups on items that are concerns for different participants

  • Brainstorm solutions and/or look for resources on MY IB


Second meeting (in Google Meet - synchronous) 60 minutes

  1. Begin with concerns and solutions from interim group work

  2. Review the most recent subject report from MyIB. Contact your coordinator if you need help finding/making sense of this material.

  3. Share resources/materials for curriculum


Second Interim (Collaboration in groups arranged in 1st or 2nd meeting)

  • Share IA-related activities and resources

  • Create a list of questions for the group for the next meeting


Third meeting (in Google Meet - synchronous) 60 minutes

  1. Teacher questions and issues from interim work

  2. Share resources used for class

  3. Share ideas on exam preparation

  4. Share resources/materials for internal assessment


Third Interim (Collaboration in groups arranged in earlier meetings)

  • Share student work and collectively grade (standardization of scoring)

  • Create a list of questions for the group for the final meeting


Fourth (final) meeting (in Google Meet - synchronous) 60 minutes

  1. Teacher questions and issues from interim work

  2. Share resources/materials for exam preparation

  3. Discuss and brainstorm ways that teachers integrate TOK, CAS, learner profile, inquiry and/or ATL into the course

  4. Arrange for voluntary follow-up to share resources, create or modify assignments, IAs, etc. as is appropriate toward the end of the roundtable.
